Welcome to MUD 113

Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 113 (MUD 113) is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, operating pursuant to Article XVI, Section 59 of the Texas Constitution and Chapter 8212 of the Texas Special District Local Laws Code.

The District has the authority to purchase, construct, operate and maintain all works, improvements, facilities and plants necessary for:

  • the collection, transportation and treatment of wastewater
  • the control and diversion of storm water
  • maintaining road improvements
  • garbage collection and disposal service
  • park and recreational facilities

Notice of Public Hearing on Tax Rate

Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 113 will hold a public hearing on a proposed tax rate for the tax year 2022 on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 9:00am at The Palm, 251 Central Pine Street, Montgomery, Texas 77316. Your individual taxes may increase at a greater or lesser rate, or even decrease, depending on the tax rate that is adopted and on the change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in taxable value of all other property. The change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in the taxable value of all other property determines the distribution of the tax burden among all property owners.

Appointment of New Director for Precinct 4

On January 21, 2022, the Board of Directors appointed Valarie Rupp to fill the vacant position expiring 05/04/2024 for precinct 4. Director Rupp will be sworn into the Board of Directors at the Board of Directors meeting on February 21, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. located at the Palm.
